Aphrodisiac aromas: top scents of temptation

Posted by Nellioness on Jan-25-2008

Our search for better sex – is never-ending. For thousands of years lovers have been on the look out for all kinds of magic substances, foods, activities and herbs helping to influence their erotic life. Today these substances are known as aphrodisiacs. Named after Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sexual love and sensuality, an aphrodisiac is anything that turns you on. The most powerful of aphrodisiacs are those influencing our physiological and psychological state, in other words, body and mind. And it is believed that SCENTS have such a powerful effect

Why scents worth all of the fuss?

Scent is nature’s secret weapon of pleasure that works naturally and every time. Using scents and fragrances we can influence each other’s sensuality and even activate sexual feelings. The idea is that through inhalation, aphrodisiac fragrances impact on our physiological and energetic centers. I know that it has been scientifically proven that scent has a key importance when it comes to sexual attraction. Some scents are overpoweringly arousing aphrodisiacs for women. Some scents can bewitch the most sober men.

When I inhale even the slightest scent of a men’s perfume with hints of coffee or tobacco notes, or perfume based on sea notes, this is not only a sheer delight for me – there starts a revolution in me. It unblocks all restraints.

Ever noticed the reaction of a woman taking a bouquet of fragrant flowers or inhaling the aroma of chocolate, vanilla, oranges, for example? Unconsciously, she becomes playful, amicable and as a result easily influenced by you. Got the trick of it? It is called aromachology. In such a way, unintentionally we use the power of aromachology or psycho-aromatherapy, the study of the the influence of aromas on mood and behavior! And the scents which have aphrodisiac properties are a part of sexual aromachology. Did you know that? Could you imagine scents are our daily companions and “secret” helpers in the bedroom?

All smells and aromas, from natural body scents to sexually exciting fragrances offered by Mother Nature, play a special role in intimate relationships. Among the many fragrances and aromatic oils that have been reputed to have aphrodisiac qualities are the sweet flavors of cinnamon, bergamot, cedarwood, chocolate, vanilla, lavender, roses, patchouli.

Certain scents and oils are considered to have more powerful aphrodisiac effects.

Basil is known as an aphrodisiac with sweet energizing aroma. Basil can arouse the basic sexual instincts. The essential oil of basil is used for reawakening a sexual relationship, for erotic massage, and as an aphrodisiac for seduction. Blends with bergamot and clary sage.

Jasmine is a heady floral scent and aphrodisiac for both sexes. Due to powerful erogenous effect, it is the most famous fragrance in the perfume industry. The power of jasmine scent is used for gaining the affection and influencing one’s choice. Jasmine fragrance also boosts libido, self-esteem and sexual interest. Note, never use jasmine oil and perfume during pregnancy. Blends with sandalwood, citrus oils and rose.

Lavender scent is a turn-on for men. It is powerful in balancing emotions, calming, charming. Never use oils containing lavender during pregnancy. Blends with most floral oils, cedarwood, patchouli.

Neroli is a virtually powerful aphrodisiac with intoxicating floral scent. An aphrodisiac for seduction and flirting.

Ylang Ylang is one of the most powerful aphrodisiacs. Increases libido and attraction between lovers. Gives energy and eroticism. Blends with jasmine, bergamot, rose, citrus oils.

Sandalwood is a sweet, woody, exotic scent with very strong aphrodisiac qualities. The oil is used in different sexual practices for enhancing physical sensuality and making lovers more sexually-liberated. To cloud one’s mind and fire up animal sex drive. Blends with lavender, rose, jasmine and bergamot.

Bergamot is an aphrodisiac with a fruity fragrance. If you want to set the mood in the bedroom, bergamot will certainly come in handy. Blends with neroli, jasmine and lemon.

So what do you do with aphrodisiac scents and oils? These scents and oils can be used alone or in special blends to create the type of sexual atmosphere you want. Use these oils and mixtures for erotic massage. To set the mood, apply aphrodisiac essential oils in oil burners (as an example: 5 drops rose, 5 drops mandarin, 5 drops jasmine; one more mixture: 2 drops rose, 2 drops sandalwood, 3 drops mandarine). A few drops of your favorite oil can be used to fragrance the bathing water. Bergamot oil can be worn on palm of each hand for bewitching potential lovers.

Scent is a big deal. To women, especially. It can make us feel and react a certain way. Personally, I do not disregard the power of fragrances as aphrodisiacs…

Erotic Massage: The Power of Touch IS

Posted by Nellioness on Jan-15-2008

Hello my lovelies! How I’ve missed you! Sorry, I was a little quiet here enjoying holiday time off. I hope you all survived the holidays and ready to enjoy the coming ones and the year ahead!

Today I’d like to share with you things I have watched and learned about my latest craze: MASSAGE. The EROTIC massage. I think that learning to give erotic and genital massage is one of the magic skills one can develop, because everyone likes to be touched in those most sensitive and intimate body places in that sensual kind of way.

Erotic massage. Massage itself is a very erotic act. Erotic massage is a highly erotic experience. The idea of erotic massage is arousing the senses through the power of a “right” touch. The ultimate purpose of such massage is stimulating a desire for intimacy, in other words, not making your loved one relaxed and sleepy, but making him or her relaxed and excited. The main part of erotic massage is genital massage which is allowing your hands and fingers to work over your partner’s fleshy places.

Erotic massage videos. I really enjoyed watching erotic massage videos: The Joy of Erotic Massage and Erotic Massage: The Touch of Love. For me, it was important that the Joy of Erotic Massage was produced under the guidance of massage masters. This is an instructional video offering easy to follow instructions and demonstrations of erotic massage. Erotic Massage: The Touch of Love is my favorite video, because it is beautiful to watch. They show massage strokes for the entire body and genital massage. Each scene just stirs up the appetite for erotic massage.

Prior to erotic massage. Prior to erotic massage, do not forget to lock all the doors, turn off the phones, make sure the room temperature and your hands are warm, arrange a few bath size towels, light up some candles, and set the atmosphere by scents and mood music or video. Have a short shower to relax and clean each other. To perform a perfect erotic massage, you will need a good quality massage oil. I highly recommend sensual massage kits. Massage kits usually includes delicately scented aromatherapy candles, rose petals, and all-over body massage oils. Oil sets are amazing as well, since most of them contain all-natural massage oils each delivering a delicate scent and special sensation (tingling, warming, heating, cooling). For a comfort, my suggestion is using a liberal amount of oil. A good way to start off an erotic massage is spending time warming up your lover’s entire body by giving a full body massage. So, have your sweetheart gloriously naked and let your hands express your tenderness.

Female and male genital massage. The idea of massaging him is that you should slow down and change the technique just before his explosion becomes inevitable. The idea of massaging her is continuous massaging through one orgasm into the next. Here are suggested genital massage strokes.

Massaging her:

…stroking the clitoris with clockwise and counter-clockwise circles
…squeezing the clit between the thumb and index fingers
…squeezing the outer lip between the thumb and index finger, and sliding up and down the entire length of each lip
…massaging the area around the clitoral hood using the pads of two fingers
…looking into each other’s eyes

Massaging him:

…gentle squeezing his manhood at the base with your hand
…caressing between the testicles and anus
…with the penis resting on his belly, gliding up and down the shaft
…moving your hand on his penis head as you’re trying to open an oiled door knob
…letting his penis “penetrate” into your fist, and before the head of his penis pops out of one hand, bring the other one up for the next penetration
…using your open palm to swirl around the head
…making a ring with your thumb and forefinger, and closing the ring when you get to the pee hole

The skin is the largest sense organ of our body, that’s why we do like to be touched in that sensual kind of way for physical and psychological benefits. Erotic touch brings us to the heights of emotional and sexual satisfaction. So, it cannot be denied – the power of touch IS.

Well, enough for today. Lengthy, I know. But I also hope that there is something useful for everyone ;)
